Continuing Education
12 Continuing Education hours will be required to renew registration beginning
with the renewal period 1999-2000. Eight of the 12 hours must be in public
protection subjects acquired in structured educational activities. All 12
Professional Development Units may be acquired in these subjects and
activities. Four hours may be in related practice subjects. The Professional
Development Units acquired for any 12 month period may not carry over to a
subsequent 12 month period. The architect is required to keep records of his
continuing education hours.
The board will conduct a random audit of architects registered in the state for
their records on continuing education. The architect need only submit his
records if requested by the board.
