Upcoming Board Meeting

The next board meeting of the WV Board of Architects will be held on Thursday July 30, 2015 beginning at noon in the Governors Press Conference Room located behind the SOS’s Office in the State Capitol Building 1900 Kanawha Blvd. Charleston, WV.

Board News

The current officers are President Lloyd Miller and Secretary William E. Yoke both are architect members of the Board. They began serving as officers of the board September 2012.

CE audit for the 2012-13 year was completed and the 55 architects audited complied. Forms necessary to submit for the Audit are on the Board Web Site. The PDU Log in PDF format that may be completed online or printed off and completed is located on the Home Page of the Board web site.

Our rules are currently going through the legislative process of being approved by the House and Senate Judiciary Committees and if they are passed in both they will be bundled and sent to the legislatures for final approval by the end of thesession April 13, 2013.

The Executive Director attended the NCARB Region II Joint meeting with Regions 1 and 6 March 15th and 16th, 2013 in Providence, RI. In the coming weeks the Executive Director will be attending training sessions for the WVOASIS Enterprise Program for the EPICS Payroll that is planned to be in place by August 2013.
